The available levels of error reporting in Joomla 4 have changed from Joomla 3. In this video we see what has changed and why it is important to know.

- Error reporting levels have changed in Joomla 4 compared to Joomla 3.
- In Joomla 3, the highest option for error reporting was "Development," while in Joomla 4, it is "Maximum."
- Knowing this change is important, especially when troubleshooting a broken Joomla 4 site and trying to access the back end.
- To set the error reporting level to "Maximum" in Joomla 4, edit the "configuration.php" file and change the "error_reporting" value to "m-m-a-x-i-m-u-m."
- This change allows you to receive more error messages to help identify and fix issues on your site.
- The video is part of "Maintenance Monday" (#230) on the "Basic Joomla Tutorials" YouTube channel.
- The video is sponsored by "mysites.guru," offering Joomla site management tools.
- The presenter, Tim Davis, offers Joomla site maintenance services.
- Viewers are encouraged to subscribe to the channel and like the video.
